Just ordered another set of SR927s, to make sure mine are not dead as well. Was this planned for a 'flying' change, by removing the shim while the watch was still alive, let it run on the unused battery while changing the second, now empty, one?Īfter replacing both batteries anyway the display remained dead. The CASIO manual does not mention anything about the correct procedure, so far I have not found any useful instructions online:Īccording to the specification the module 1470 uses TWO batteries SR927 - when I looked inside only ONE battery was active, the upper battery was isolated by a red shim (>20MOhm), so it could have never allowed the battery to connect - how odd is this? ![]() The other is my Pulsar N945-6A20 that refuses to even open (different story). While trying to revive a fleet of my old (currently dead) quartz watches I failed to get this one to run again. ![]()
